Sinaloa.- This afternoon, government authorities, as well as presidents and elected deputies, related to the construction megaproject that includes the hydraulic work called Piedra Labrada Dam to be built in the municipality of Mocorito, Sinaloa, and thereby benefit the Évora region and part of the center of the state of Sinaloa.

In this regard and in that sense, the mayor of Mocorito, Guillermo “Memo” Galindo Castro, announced that the afternoon today they had a meeting at the Conagua facilities in the city of Culiacán, in order to address the issue and do the same to form a delegation for tomorrow and send the technical sheet to the president of the republic, Andrés Manuel López Obrador during his tour of the state of Sinaloa.

“We remain enthusiastic and willing to follow up on the construction project of the Piedra Labrada de Mocorito Dam; a work that will undoubtedly be transcendental to continue detonating the economic and social development of our region that we form together with our sister municipalities of Angostura and Salvador Alvarado ”. Said the municipal president of Mocorito.

It is worth mentioning that the meeting was attended by: Fernando García, Federal Deputy; Ambrosio Chávez, elected local deputy; engineer, Mauricio Montes; Miguel Angulo Acosta, elected municipal president of Angostura and Ing. José Luis Montalvo Espinoza, Director of Conagua in Sinaloa.
