"The Mandalorian": A YouTuber corrects the series, Lucasfilm hires him

STAR WARS – On December 21, 2020, the YouTuber named “Shamook” posted a video where he corrected the rejuvenation of Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker in the series) in the season 2 finale of “The Mandalorian”. A simple video that allowed him to enter the film industry by integrating Lucasfilm, the studio in charge of Star Wars, as you can see in the video at the top of the article.

YouTube is full of videos “deepfake”, A method of changing someone’s face by replacing it with another. These videographers try to improve the visual effects of films and series, but it is rare that these creations lead to real jobs. But Shamook, YouTuber with 76,000 subscribers, and specializing in deepfake, was offered this chance.

Shamook officially announces the news in the comments of his latest YouTube video. “As some of you may already know, I joined ILM / Lucasfilms a few months ago and didn’t have time to work on any new YouTube content. Now that I’ve settled into my job, uploads should start arriving again. It will always take time, but I hope they won’t be several months apart. Enjoy it! ” he develops.

Who would have thought that this video made in just 4 days would have allowed him to get a job?
