Andalusia has urged pregnant women this Wednesday to get vaccinated as soon as possible. The Minister of Health, Jesús Aguirre, stressed that there is “a significant volume” of pregnant women admitted to hospitals for coronavirus. Meanwhile, in Catalonia the ICUs continue to fill up. This Wednesday, the Generalitat has notified that 549 people are admitted to intensive care, 14 more than yesterday, and the worst figure since February 25. The cumulative incidence in Spain rises slightly and stands at 701.92 cases per 100,000 inhabitants in the last 14 days. Health reported 26,399 new coronavirus infections and 55 deaths on Tuesday, while more than 26.1 million people already have the complete vaccination schedule.
