53.5% of the Spanish population already has the complete vaccination schedule against the coronavirus. With this data, Spain ranks as the first country in terms of percentage of vaccinated population, ahead of United Kingdom, Canada and the United States.
This data, offered by Our World in Data, has been highlighted this Saturday by the President of the Government of Spain, Pedro Sánchez, through a message on his official Twitter account.

This 53.5% of Spaniards vaccinated with the complete schedule are, in absolute numbers, 25,398,978 people, 338,020 more since the previous communication from the Ministry of Health.
In addition, 64.3% of the population in Spain, that is, 30.500.003 people, has received at least one dose of Covid-19 vaccine.
The latest report from the Ministry of Health collects which autonomous communities have already administered 53,449,255 doses, 95.6% of those delivered, and Spain has received 56,179,315 doses, 60.1% of those acquired.
Of the 55,930,113 doses delivered in Spain, 37,620,993 correspond to Pfizer; 10.189.600, a AstraZeneca; 5.701.770, a Modern and 2,417,750, to Janssen.
By regions, the ones that have managed the most are Andalusia (9,581,359, 98.6%), Catalonia (8,563,950, 94.7%), and Madrid (7,234,927, 94.6%). These autonomous communities are also the ones with the most people with a full registration, with 4,475,153 in the case of Andalusia; 4,163,252, in Catalonia and 3,373,266, in Madrid.
