Boca Juniors decided this Saturday to play with youth the game against Banfield, scheduled for this Saturday, after the Professional Soccer League (LPF) will reject a new request from the club for it to be postponed, as confirmed to ‘Efe’ by spokespersons of the institution.

Boca Juniors I had insisted this Friday at LPF to “review the decision made” to keep the game against Banfield and before San Lorenzo so as not to “put at risk” the juveniles.

The club had argued that it cannot present the professionals of first division -for being in mandatory quarantine to comply with a decision of the National government-, like the Reserve team -for having played this Friday and not being able to play a match within 48 hours of playing the previous one-.

But the board of directors of the LPF decided to “reject” the new request for the postponement of the matches corresponding to the second and third dates of the tournament LPF 2021.

As a consequence, spokespersons for Boca Juniors indicated that this Saturday the players reservation and, although they still could not confirm the list for the match, it was reported that “the idea is to play it” with juveniles.
