A 76-year-old woman has died on Neptuno Street in the Madrid town of Pozuelo de Alarcón due to “severe head trauma”, presumably as a result of an assault, according to sources from the SUMMA112 Community of Madrid.

The corpse of the deceased was “thrown” on the public highway and the SUMMA112 physicians displaced to the scene of the event have only been able to “confirm the death” of the woman.

Served by psychologists

The children of the deceased have been treated in the same place by the psychologist services of SUMMA112.

The Pozuelo SEAPA emergency service and the Local Police have intervened in assisting the event, the investigation of which has been carried out by the National Police.

Victim number 27

Before this case, still not confirmed as sexist violence, the Ministry of Equality counts 26 women killed by this scourge so far this year, a figure that rises to 1,104 women murdered since 2003, when they began to be counted.
