A 76-year-old woman died this Thursday after get hit hard on the head with a vase the portal of his house, in the Madrid municipality of Pozuelo de Alarcón, as reported by sources from Emergencias 112 Comunidad de Madrid.
The one responsible for his death has been her husband, 79-year-old who was chasing her down the street with a vase in her hand after having a heated argument.
After the attack, the man fled, but has already been detained by the police. It is still unknown whether the woman had previously reported her husband for abuse.
Summa 112 was alerted at 12:30 a.m. that a woman was on Neptuno Street in the Madrid town unconscious and with signs of having been assaulted.
After the agents of the Pozuelo de Alarcón Municipal Police, the National Police and the Summa 112 health workers came to the scene, the latter have only been able to confirm death of the woman.
Likewise, the psychologists of Summa 112 have given psychological assistance to children of the victim who have come to the scene.
With this murder, there are already 26 women killed by the sexist violence this year in Spain. Six of those deaths have been in the Community of Madrid.
