Of the total of San Juan vaccinated, only 24.6% received the two doses

Until yesterday Wednesday, 392,304 San Juan residents had received at least one dose of a coronavirus vaccine within the framework of the Provincial Vaccination Plan. However, only 96,850, that is, 24.6%, were inoculated with the second dose to complete the treatment.

The data comes from weekly report issued by the Ministry of Health which indicates that until yesterday, Wednesday, the vaccination balance in San Juan was as follows:

– Target audiences: 523,000 people

– Total doses applied: 489.154

– First dose: 392.304

– Second dose: 96.850

– Amount of doses in San Juan: 561.600

In this context, the health portfolio indicated that “The vaccination strategy seeks to cover the entire target population in a free, equitable and equal manner. The order of priority in the target population to be vaccinated was established considering the protection of the groups with the highest risk, together with the strategic population groups necessary to ensure the development of priority activities, taking into account the progressive availability of vaccine doses “.

The Province of San Juan plans to inoculate people from the following groups at this stage:

– Public and private health personnel.

– Geriatric and long-stay residences

– Citizens over 60, 70 and 80 years old

– Transplanted

– People with active tuberculosis

– Public and Private Dialysis Centers.

– People over 18 years to 39 years with and without comorbidities

– People between 40 and 59 years old without comorbidities

– Pregnant any trimester and nursing mothers

– People with intellectual and developmental disabilities and Down syndrome

– Security and Defense Forces: Argentine Army, Argentine National Gendarmerie, San Juan Police and Personnel of the Penitentiary Service.

– Teachers of Initial Level, Maternity Gardens, Special Education, Directors of all Levels.

– Teachers from 1st to 6th Grade and secondary from the public and private sphere

– Goalkeepers of all levels, Integrative Auxiliary Teachers (DAI) and Preceptors

– Assistants and administrative without contact with students of educational establishments of all levels

– Teachers and non-teachers of non-university Higher Education institutes

– University Teachers and Non-Teachers
