First Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environment of Khakassia Sergey Glushkov became a defendant in a criminal case of embezzlement, he is suspected of embezzlement. This was reported on the website of the government of the republic.
A criminal case was initiated against the official under Part 3 of Article 160 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Theft of someone else’s property entrusted to the guilty person with the use of his official position, on a large scale”). Currently, investigative actions are being carried out, the department is assisting the investigation.
It is noted that Glushkov may be involved in the embezzlement of property in the process of liquidating an autonomous institution. Currently, the first deputy minister has been removed from office, the contract with him has been terminated on July 22.
Earlier, the former deputy governor of the region, Dmitry Fedechkin, was arrested on Sakhalin. It is clarified that a criminal case has been initiated against the official under Part 4 of Article 160 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Misappropriation or embezzlement, that is, theft of someone else’s property entrusted to the culprit”). He was detained for two months.
