The tide between Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers just doesn’t seem to be smoothing out.

Despite an outstanding past season in which Rodgers was named NFL MVP, the 37-year-old quarterback no longer feels valued enough by his franchise.

A report by “ESPN” proves that Rodgers’ money does not matter in the dispute with the Packers, in which NFL insider Adam Schefter stated that the playmaker should have rejected an offer that would have made him the highest paid quarterback in the league.

Accordingly, Green Bay Rodgers offered a contract extension for two years. The deal would have tied him to the “Cheeseheads” for another five years and would have been better paid than that of Chiefs Superstar Patrick Mahomes, who is currently the NFL professional with the highest income at 45 million US dollars a year.

The clinch between Rogers and his club continues. The superstar’s annoyance began last year when the Packers unexpectedly selected quarterback Jordan Love in the first round of the draft. In addition, the lack of a say in Rodgers should be a thorn in the side.
