Huracán defeated Defensa y Justicia today by 2 to 1, at home, after starting losing due to an error by Marcos Díaz, who returned to the club where he was champion twice.

The goalkeeper had a weak reaction in the goal of Lucas Barrios, a former Hurricane, 5 minutes into the first half but the “Globe” turned it around with the goals of the debutant Enrique Triverio, at 37 of the initial stage, and Santiago Hezze , at 5 of the second period.

Huracán recounted the return of goalkeeper Marcos Díaz, idol and two-time champion, plus the presentations of four other of the eight reinforcements: Fabián Henríquez, Jonás Acevedo, Jhonatan Candia and Enrique Triverio.

The former Boca Juniors and Talleres de Córdoba did not get off to a good start, as he made a key mistake early in the game for Barrios’ goal after miscalculation on an aerial ball.

To their luck and that of Huracán, the team was able to turn the scoreboard with goals from Triverio, a “handsome” at the end of the first half, and Hezze at the beginning of the second stage after pressure at the opponent’s exit.

With the 2 to 1, the goalkeeper and captain of Huracán was an important voice of command to order the defense and was able to celebrate his return to the club.

Defense presented four changes with respect to the team that lost against Flamengo (1-0) in Florencio Varela for the first leg of the round of 16 of the Copa Libertadores.

The premieres of Kevin Gutiérrez, Braian Rivero and Lucas Barrios by Lautaro Escalante, Raúl Loaiza and Walter Bou plus the entry of Franco Paredes by Matías Rodríguez, who later replaced the injured Juan Rodríguez.

Sebastián Beccacece’s team did not know how to maintain the early lead and then had no ideas to try, at least, to take a draw from Parque de los Patricios.

The “Halcón” is now preparing for the rematch against Flamengo that will be next Wednesday at the Mané Garrincha stadium in Brasilia.

Varela’s team will go for a new feat in Brazil but with a team diminished by the losses of Enzo Fernández and Braian Romero, both emigrated to River Plate.
