The Canary Islands have registered 598 coronavirus infections detected in the last 24 hours this Saturday, as reported by the Regional Government Health Department.
Thus, 132 fewer cases have been reported than yesterday Friday, when the record for the pandemic with 730 infections was reached. The accumulated cases stand at 68,813.
The Islands reach 800 deaths from the pandemic after adding a new death.
Of the 598 new positives this Saturday, 334 were registered in Tenerife, 199 in Gran Canaria, 21 in La Palma, 19 in Lanzarote, 18 in Fuerteventura, 4 in La Gomera and 1 in El Hierro.
