Once again, Djokovic reaches the Wimbledon final and will face Berrettini

Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic, number one in the world, confirmed today that he will participate in the Tokyo Olympics. “I am very proud to pack for Tokyo and join our national team in the fight for the brightest medals in the Olympic arenas,” announced “Nole” on his social media.

“For me, representing Serbia has always been a joy and a special motivation and I will do my best to make us all happy. Come on!”

Djokovic, who won the bronze medal in Beijing 2008 (lost in the semifinals with the Spanish Rafael Nadal, then champion by beating the Chilean Fernando Gonzalez), won this year the three Grand Slam disputed: Australia, Roland Garros and Wimbledon.

In the different branches of Olympic tennis there will be seven Argentines: Diego Schwartzman, Federico Coria, Facundo Bagnis, Nadia Podoroska, Francisco Cerúndolo and the doubles players Horacio Zeballos Y Andrés Molteni. The goal is to follow the path of the Tandilense Juan Martin del Potro, bronze in London 2012 and silver in Rio 2016. (Télam)
