Montreal beat Tampa to close the backlog in the Stanley Cup final

The Montreal Canadiens beat the Tampa Bay Lightning in the fourth leg of the National Hockey League (NHL) playoff final, the Stanley Cup.

The meeting took place at the Bell Center stadium in Montreal and ended in overtime with a score of 3: 2.

Josh Anderson scored a double for Montreal. Another goal was scored by Alexander Romanov. Barkley Goodrow and Patrick Maroon scored with abandoned goals for Tampa.

Thus, the Canadiens have closed the gap in the series – 3: 1.

Earlier it was reported that Tampa beat Montreal and increased the lead in the Stanley Cup final.
