'Grazie', the coin with which Italy pays tribute to the health workers who fought the covid

The Italian Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) next to Polygraphic Institute and State Mint, have presented this Tuesday a new collection of coins that reward the effort and dedication of Italian toilets in the pandemic caused by COVID-19.

The Italian Mint will coin the word “Thank you” Next to the image of a two toilets, a man and a woman with masks, in three million coins.

In this way, the Government of Italy will recognize and appreciate the work of those who have been fighting the coronavirus in a country that fI was hit hard by the virus.

These coins are part of a extensive collection of fifteen themes call ‘Numismatic Collection 2021‘inspired by art, science, nature, gastronomy, sport and history.
