Antena 3 has begun to promote the arrival of a new Turkish production with which it hopes to repeat the success of ‘Mujer’. It is about ‘Bir Zamanlar Çukurova’, which in our country will take the title of ‘Bitter Lands’. Although it seemed destined for ‘prime time’, Atresmedia has surprised by programming it in the afternoon, as a substitute for ‘Now I’m falling!’ that will disappear from the grid after ten years.

‘Bitter land’ It will premiere next Monday, July 5, starting at 5:30 p.m., thus occupying the gap left by the Arturo Valls contest. With this move, the new Turkish bet of Antena 3 will face every day with ‘Save me orange’.

The series currently has three seasons, but could renew its continuity

Starring, among others, by Vahide Perçin, Murat Ünalmis, Ugur Günes and Hilal Altinbilek, ‘Tierra amarga’ has been successful in more than 30 countries around the world since its launch in 2018. Atresmedia’s new bet will surprise viewers from the first moment. ‘Tierra amarga’ is the biggest blockbuster of the last decade; a series highly praised for its setting in the 70s, for its locations, and for the enormous work behind its wardrobe.

‘Bitter Land’, produced by Tims & B Productions for the ATV channel, is a three season composite drama. The first had 35 episodes; the second, 28; and the third, which will end its broadcasts on June 24, will say goodbye with 39 episodes. Ottoman fiction has filmed a total of 102 installments, although, according to various local media, it seems that it will extend its success with a fourth season that very few viewers expected at this point.

Fiction, yes, has suffered the departure of some of the main actors in its last season, so future installments will feature a renewed cast, as has happened with the third and final season of ‘Mujer’.

The episodes of ‘Bitter Land’ have an approximate duration of 140 minutes, so if Antena 3 repeats the strategy of its Turkish fictions and divides each episode by two ‘Bitter land’ could exceed 200 deliveries in our country. If the audience supports this new bet by Atresmedia, Telecinco could once again find itself with a serious problem.
