You will be able to go to Brittany without fear. To adapt to the comings and goings of the French this summer, the health ministry has relaxed certain rules concerning vaccination.

A “Provisional and exceptional modification” spacing between the first and second dose of messenger RNA vaccines (Pfizer / BioNTech and Moderna) has been implemented. This second dose can be performed according to an interval ranging from 21 to 49 days, against 39 to 42 previously, in order to “Allow everyone to reconcile going on vacation and injection in the same place”. You can therefore postpone your injection appointment by a few days by calling your vaccination center, or by canceling your appointment to resume another.

If the deadlines are too tight and you really have no choice, know that you can also get vaccinated at your resort. This option is not “Ideal” for the ministry of health, which repeats that it must remain a « exception », aware that this can still allow holidaymakers to continue their vaccination without too many constraints. If you choose to do so, the key to not wasting a dose is to cancel your appointment before resuming another.

In addition to extending the spacing between two doses, the government has announced to people who have already had Covid-19 that they will be able to get vaccinated faster than expected. Until now, it was recommended to wait three months after infection. It is now possible to do this from two months.
