The country had 43,836 new cases of the disease in this period; moving average of deaths fell
Brazil registered 43,836 cases of Covid-19 and 2,081 deaths from the disease in the last 24 hours. With the numbers released by the National Council of Health Secretaries (Conass) this Wednesday, 30, the country has 518,066 fatal victims and a total of 18,557,141 infected by the coronavirus. However, the moving average of deaths over the past seven days fell to 1,565, the lowest number since 9 March. The average of new Covid-19 diagnoses is also down, at 55,323. The fatality rate remains stable at 2.8%. The disease mortality rate rose from 244.3, recorded last Sunday, to 246.5 per 100,000 inhabitants. São Paulo is still the most affected state, with 3,727,348 cases and 127,681 deaths.
