The Ministry of Health reported this Tuesday in its morning report that 989 new cases of covid-19 have been added in Tucumán, totaling 156,423 since the pandemic began.

According to the portfolio, 135 were processed by the Public Health Laboratory and 23 by the private one. While 808 were antigen tests processed by the public sector and 23 by the private sector.

The cases correspond to the following departments: Capital (257); Cruz Alta (111); Monteros (96); Loyal (85); Yerba Buena (65); Tafí Viejo (63); Alberdi (58); Chicligasta (48); Tafí del Valle (43); Burruyacú (32); Burruyacú (32); Famaillá (31); Lules (30); Simoca (22); Barns (18); Río Chico (17); Locks (9); La Cocha (4).

The total number of patients discharged to date is 141,825.

Likewise, the death of seven patients was reported, of which five were being assisted in the public sector and two in the private:

-A 65-year-old woman with comorbidities, admitted to intensive care in the public sector, on mechanical ventilation, with Covid-19 pneumonia.

-An 81-year-old woman with comorbidities, admitted to intensive care in the public sector, with Covid-19 pneumonia.

-An 87-year-old man with comorbidities, admitted to intensive care in the public sector, on mechanical ventilation, with Covid-19 pneumonia.

-A 59-year-old man with comorbidities, admitted to intensive care in the public sector, with Covid-19 pneumonia.

-A 58-year-old man with comorbidities, admitted to intensive care in the public sector, on mechanical ventilation, with Covid-19 pneumonia.

-An 87-year-old woman with comorbidities, admitted to intermediate therapy in the private sector, with Covid-19 pneumonia.

-A 71-year-old woman with comorbidities, admitted to intermediate therapy in the private sector, with Covid-19 pneumonia.
