New restrictions introduced by the authorities of the Kuban for accommodation in hotels and hotels in the region may lead to a halving of flights to Sochi, Anapa and Gelendzhik. This was reported by RIA Novosti with reference to a source in one of the largest Russian airlines.

For example, hotels in the Krasnodar Territory sent letters to carriers with information that they refuse to accept flight attendants and pilots on business trips without a vaccination certificate.

As the source noted, airlines “physically” do not have the ability to provide their employees with PCR testing every three days or vaccinations. According to him, in the near future, more than half of flights to the region are planning to cancel all Russian airlines.

In addition, as it became known to the agency from a representative of another carrier, every day about 50 employees of the airline check in hotels in Sochi for pre-flight rest, however, due to new requirements, a reduction in flight programs to the region by 40-50 percent is being considered.

Earlier in June, it was reported that from July 1, travelers will be required to present a negative PCR test or a vaccination certificate for accommodation in hotels and boarding houses in the Krasnodar Territory. From August 1, the measure will be tightened – the resorts will be completely closed for unvaccinated Russians. An exception will be made only for tourists who have medical contraindications for vaccination.
