More of 700 political prisoners Detainees after the military coup in Burma will be released this Wednesday, one of those responsible for the Insein pressure in Rangoon told the Burmese edition of the BBC.

Some of those arrested had been charged with “incite public disorder”, pick up the medium.

Since the February 1 uprising, the security forces have 6,421 people arrested, of which 5,554 were still in prison, and arrest warrants were issued against 1,988, according to data from the Association for the Assistance of Political Prisoners (AAPP).
