Unified national exams begin in Georgia on July 1 with an exam in the Georgian language and literature. More than 38.4 thousand applicants passed registration for the UNE this year

TBILISI, June 29 – Sputnik. The National Center for Examinations and Assessments of Georgia has published the rules of conduct for applicants for the Unified National Exams, which will start in the country on July 1.

As stated in the message of the center, applicants must have an identity card or passport, an examination card, if desired, an additional medical mask, water in a plastic bottle, a black helium pen (0.5-0.7 mm) with a round tip.

You can start working on the test only after the observer or curator gives an instruction and the countdown begins. The applicant, together with the supervisor, should check the answer sheet to make sure it is not damaged.

In the event that the applicant completes the work before the set time, he must raise his hand and hand over a sheet intended for rough work and answers. The delivery of the sheets must also be confirmed with a signature and only after that leave the examination sector.

There should not be a single subject on the desktop, except for those that are given to the applicant before the start of the exam. The water bottle can be placed on the floor.

During testing, applicants are required to follow the recommendations of the Ministry of Health – to wear a mask, keep a distance, and disinfect their hands as directed.

During the exam, it is forbidden to talk to anyone, ask questions to the curators or observers about the content of the text, talk with other applicants and prompt each other. An applicant may receive a warning if he starts working on the test before the curator is instructed, continues working on it after the expiration of the time, leaves the workplace without permission, uses a pen that is not allowed to fill out the answer sheet, and so on.

If the applicant breaks the rules again after one warning, he leaves the exam.

An applicant is removed from the exam without warning if a dictionary, mobile phone, calculator, clock or other electronic devices (even if they are turned off) are found in his possession. Those applicants who find cribs will also leave the exam. Without warning, the applicant is removed from the exam in the event of a gross violation of order, offending a person participating in the examination process, also in the case of being under alcohol, drug intoxication or under the influence of psychotropic substances.

In the event that an applicant violates the rules related to preventing the spread of coronavirus, he will be reprimanded for the first time, and in case of disobedience, he will be removed from the exam.

Applicants can submit an application and indicate their claims in it until 21:00 that day in the building of the examination center.

The 2021 unified national exams will be held at 25 examination centers in Georgia. Of the 25 examination centers, 11 will be located in Tbilisi, three in Kutaisi (Imereti), three in Batumi (Adjara), one each in Zugdidi (Samegrelo – Zemo Svaneti), Rustavi (Kvemo Kartli), Gori (Shida Kartli), Akhaltsikhe (Samtskhe-Javakheti), Telavi (Kakheti), Ozurgeti (Guria), Poti (Samegrelo – Zemo Svaneti), Khulo (Adjara).

The 2021 unified national exams in Georgia will begin on July 1 with the Georgian language and literature. More than 38.4 thousand applicants have passed registration for the UNE this year.

In order to become a student, one must pass three compulsory exams – Georgian language and literature, a foreign language, and one optional – literature, mathematics, history, geography, chemistry, physics, biology, fine and applied arts, or civic education. The subject “General Skills”, canceled from 2020, will be taken by applicants only if this or that university requires it.
