Sinaloa.- The demand for care for gastrointestinal diseases has increased at the Red Cross in the city of Mazatlán.

More than a half consultation is for diarrhea, vomiting, gastritis and stomach upset, highlighted the medical coordinator of the worthy institution, Jaqueline Valerio Ramos.

He asked parents that if their children become ill, they should immediately take them to the doctor to be evaluated and receive the appropriate and timely treatment. Only then can you prevent them from becoming dehydrated and putting your health at risk.

The official indicated that the best way for parents to protect their children is to intensify hygiene when preparing food, washing hands after going to the bathroom and before eating. Likewise, they must prepare the food and then consume it, since due to the high temperatures it can spoil. They should also hydrate with plenty of fluids.
