London.- A hospital worker has been jailed for 13 years for sexually abusing a 3-year-old girl of age more than 20 years.
Eric Lakidi, 43 years old, abused the victim multiple times Between 1996 and 1999, he heard the Harrow Crow Court.
The attacks occurred at addresses in North London’s Enfield and Barnet districts, the court heard.

The crime was discovered in 2016 when the victim, who is now a young woman, reported the abuse to the North London Child Abuse Investigation Team, according to My London.
Eric was working security at Epsom and St Helier University Hospital NHS Trust at the time.
On June 1 of this year, a unanimous jury found him guilty of three counts of rape against a child, after his trial in May.
In addition to his 13-year jail sentence, Eric Lakidi, of Epsom, Surrey, has been listed on the Sex Offender Registry for Life.
Judge Vanessa Francis said: “You took advantage of her, you raped her more than once when she was vulnerable.”
Acting Detective Sergeant Virginia Condren said: “Lakidi took advantage of the trust of a vulnerable child to commit and hide his heinous crimes.
The tenacity and courage shown by the young woman in this case can only be described as admirable
“Her drive to achieve justice for herself has never failed. Despite the daunting steps she has taken to achieve this result, she has only shown strength and determination to carry it out.”
Detective Sergeant Condren added: “I can only hope that today is a significant step in closing the door to the fear and trauma you have experienced, and that your courage in coming forward will serve as an encouragement to others who have also suffered abuse of any kind. , current or historical, have confidence in the police, CPS and the courts to bring these criminals to justice. “
