A footballer from Quilmes took an exam in the middle of a match

This Saturday an unprecedented situation was seen in the world of football that quickly went viral on social networks. Daniela Palma, a 27-year-old Quilmes player, is the protagonist of this story: after playing the first half of the classic (friendly) against Argentino de Quilmes, she can be seen on one side of the court with her notebook, taking a test of the faculty.

“I ended up tired. It was 40 minutes, they hit me a little and I was sore, but I gave up while my teammates were playing. It was complicated”, said the soccer player who is in the third year of the degree of Kinesiology and Physiatry at the National University Arturo Jauretche, in an interview with journalist Daniela Lichinizer.

On the side of the playing field at the Alsina y Lora (QAC) soccer field, Palma had to take a Computer Science final. Despite having explained their situation to the professor and even to the director of the chair in order to run his exam, the answers were negative.

“I spoke with the coach (Fernando Chiappino) on Thursday and he told me to play the first half and then to give up. I replied: ‘I play as much as you want, but at 17 I have to go. running to be in front of the computer, ‘”he continued his story.

Quilmes thrashed 3-0 in the city classic. “I finished performing and all I wanted was to go to the locker room with my teammates to celebrate the triumph. I turned off the computer and left. I did not stay to wait for the note, I told them that I had already delivered everything, I cut off and left. As I was? I calculate that well … ”, he assured.
