Ni Michael Jordan, nor the Monstars and his skills stolen from the best of the NBA: the real star of Space Jam and best shooter of the Looney Tunes was, is and always will be Lola Bunny. And now that Space Jam: New Legends, the long-awaited sequel starring LeBron James, lands in theaters, the bunny will be back on the cartoon basketball team captained by Bugs Bunny.
While zendaya will lend her voice to Lola Bunny in English, Warner Spain has just announced that it will be the singer and dancer Lola Indigo who will voice the character in Spanish. Thus, the star makes her debut as a voice actress in the animated and live-action production directed by Malcolm D. Lee, that premieres in theaters July 23.
In a statement from Warner, Lola Indigo declares herself a fan of Space Jam and especially Lola Bunny, one of the characters that has marked him since his childhood and to whom he dedicates his song Lola Bunny, which has more than 23 million views on YouTube and more than 44 million views on Spotify. The artist has shared the exciting moment in which she is announced that she will be in charge of giving voice to the Looney Tunes bunny:

Fifteen years after Michael Jordan joined the Looney Tunes, Malcolm D. Lee takes over Space Jam: New Legends, counting with the leading role of LeBron James as heir to Jordan and the production of Ryan Coogler, architect of Black Panther.
This time, the plot follows James trying to rescue his son. Cedric Joe in the digital space of an all-powerful and evil force called AI (Warner characters and franchises coexist there) while the evil one Al G Rythm (Don Cheadle) steals his Instagram followers. For this mission, the protagonist must recruit the Looney Tunes to defeat the Goon Squad. The film will also feature the presence of other basketball players such as Anthony Davis, Nneka Ogwumike, Klay Thompson o Diana Taurasi.
