The Civil Guard has dismantled an organization dedicated to the cultivation of marijuana inside trucks after the arrest of six people and the intervention of 781 plants, in the provinces of Salamanca, Zamora and Valladolid, sources from the armed institute reported this Sunday.

This is the first time that this type of “itinerant” plantation, which the organization had created inside two refrigerated semi-trailers to transport drugs from one place to another in the event of detecting the police presence.

The Civil Guard, within the framework of the operation plants, in addition to practicing the six arrests, he has intervened both trailers and has recovered a firearm that had been stolen in 2017.

The operation began at the beginning of the year, when the agents detected that a group of people, residents in various towns in the province of Salamanca, were professionally engaged in growing marijuana.

Continuing with the investigations, the Civil Guard found that the members of the organization had moved to villages with few inhabitants to cultivate marijuana, thus managing to go unnoticed.

The facilities had sophisticated systems for the elimination of odors and noise and thus avoid that any notice to the Civil Guard could be produced due to annoyances that they could cause to the neighbors.

The agents verified that the investigated persons they went daily to the places where they cultivated the drug to carry out the necessary care and thus obtain large productions.

Thus, they made great profits and they could invest in new plantations.

It is the first time that a mobile plantation indoor marijuana inside trucks, the Civil Guard stressed in a statement.
