The top leadership of China highly appreciated the prospects for the development of Russia under the leadership of President Vladimir Putin. This was stated by the deputy head of the international relations department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the PRC Guo Yezhou, quoted by TASS.

“We are confident that under the leadership of President Putin, the Russian people will be able to achieve the implementation of all the tasks of state development,” he stressed.

Guo Yezhou added that in recent years Russia has made significant strides in social and economic development. According to him, the PRC is happy to observe how Moscow maintains internal political stability and improves the quality of life of its citizens. The Communist Party of China stated that it would not forget Russia’s contribution to the revolutionary past, highly appreciated the political contacts between the countries and wished great success in the future path of development.

Earlier, China accused US President Joe Biden’s national security adviser Jake Sullivan of blackmail and deliberate intimidation. This was announced by the official representative of the Chinese Foreign Ministry Zhao Lijian.
