If you are thinking of following the advice of the President of the Assembly of the Republic, Ferro Rodrigues, who is waiting “that the Portuguese move massively to the south of Spain” to support the National Team, it is important to know the health situation in Seville.
And we can say, right away, that it’s not the best.
In Spain, the region of Andalusia is currently the most affected by the pandemic, with Seville at the forefront of alarm, with an incidence rate of 176.6 cases per 100,000 population in the last 14 days (June 9-22). In Madrid, for example, it is 62.66.
Seville, by the way, is the only one of the eight provinces of Andalusia that has two municipalities at the maximum level of alert and health fence due to more than 1,000 cases per 100,000 inhabitants – Cantillana and Herrera.
However, most of the province, including the capital, is at alert level 2, the second least serious, at a time when Spain is advancing at full throttle into deconfinement. The districts Sevilla Este and Sevilla Norte remain at level 3, except for the municipalities of Herrera and Cantillana, which, remember, are at level 4, the most serious.
The review of the epidemiological situation was carried out on Wednesday and is in effect from 00:00 this Thursday, and for one week.
the covid numbers
Seville is one of the eight provinces of the autonomous community of Andalusia, which also includes Huelva, Cádiz, Córdoba, Jaén, Granada, Malaga and Almería.

Permissions and Restrictions
The mandatory use of a mask, from the age of six, and compliance with social distance of 1.5 meters are, basically, the two mandatory measures to combat the pandemic to be followed in Andalusia.
This region is already in the last phase of deconfinement, with promises of a summer as normal as possible.
There are no obstacles to movement between provinces and no curfew.
People can get together in groups of 8 (maximum) inside bars and restaurants and up to 10 outside, such as terraces.
The hotels’ restaurants and catering in general can be open until midnight and the clubs until 02:00 in the morning.
The occupancy rate in restaurants and in all commercial establishments, including shopping centers, must not exceed 75%, but the terraces can have an occupancy level of 100%. In clubs, the maximum occupancy is 50%.
