The Portuguese football team qualified today for the round of 16 of Euro2020, by drawing 2-2 with world champion France, in a meeting of the third round of Group F of Euro2020, at Puskás Arena, in Budapest.
Cristiano Ronaldo scored the two Portuguese goals, in the 31st and 60th minutes, both with a penalty, equaling the 109 of the world record holder, Iranian Ali Daei, while Karim Benzema scored twice for the French, 45+2, penalty, and 47 .
With 2-2 in Germany-Hungary, the Portuguese team finished in third place in the grouping, meeting Belgium in the ‘eighth’ (Sunday, in Seville), with four points, the same as Germany, second, and one less than France, first, with Hungary being eliminated, with two.
