Paracanoe training for people with disabilities began on Lake Nuri in Batumi. There were a lot of people willing to do this sport. For more details, see the video Sputnik Georgia
Both men and women want to try themselves in paracanoe rowing. Some training participants even think about taking this sport seriously.

Before starting the practice, the participants of the classes are given a theoretical training on land. The Paracanoe Federation of Adjara is engaged in this project.
Especially for this, the Federation acquired a canoe, which has no analogue in Georgia. It is adapted for people with disabilities.
Now the Federation plans to purchase additional swimming equipment, as more and more people want to try themselves in this sport.
