Agents of the National Police have arrested in Valencia a 35 year old man as the alleged perpetrator of a crime of mistreatment in the family environment and of resistance and disobedience to an agent of authority, after try to strangle your partner and later reprimand and threaten an agent when they were going to arrest him.
The events occurred this past Saturday, at around 6:30 a.m., when Room 091 alerted the agents to go to a street in the Abastos district of the city where, apparently, a man was attacking a woman, as reported by the National Police in a statement.
The agents arrived at the scene and there they observed a woman who had red marks in the throat area. The police officers found out that, moments before, apparently, his partner had tightly held by the neck with both hands and allegedly tried to suffocate her while holding her against a bench located on the public highway.
It was then that a wayfarer who witnessed the attack approached the man and reproached him for his action, alerting him that he was going to notify the police. At this moment, the suspect started to flee.
However, after carrying out the police investigations, the agents they located the male in the vicinity of the area, and when they were going to identify him, he began to rebuke a component of the police patrol.
The man, in an aggressive attitude, began to ridicule and disrespect the agent with discriminatory comments due to being a woman. In addition, at one point, he raised his hand with the intention of attacking the police.
Finally, the National Police have arrested the man, of Russian origin, as the alleged perpetrator of a crime of abuse in the family environment and of resistance and disobedience to an agent of authority. The arrested person has gone to court.
