Two women, one of them pregnant, and a male have died at dawn this Friday after a boat ran aground in the vicinity of the Orzola Pier, in Lanzarote.
In addition, 12 people have been transferred to the hospital, of which six are women, two babies, two four-year-old children and two men, all of them with pathologies of various considerations, as indicated by the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center of the 112 of Canary Islands.
The search for the rest of the possible occupants of the boat, who are unaccounted for, is expected to resume early this Friday.
In this sense, we are working with the possibility that the boat had between 46 and 49 occupants, and they are looking for about six people, who would be those who are believed to have disappeared when the boat ran aground.
For this, the device will be made up of the Emergency and Rescue Group (GES) of the Government of the Canary Islands, as well as firefighters, and it is expected that Maritime Rescue can also be incorporated.
