The Government will allocate aid of up to 900 euros per month and of up to 100% of the rent of the house to be occupied on a lease basis to people who are evicted from their habitual residence, homeless people, victims of gender violence and other people especially vulnerable, within the framework of the State Plan for access to housing 2022-2025.

Likewise, aid of up to 200 euros per month may be granted to these groups to attend to maintenance, community and basic housing supplies, with a limit of 100% of said expenses.

The grants are for a period of five years and are intended to provide an “immediate” housing solution to all these groups.

The social services of the autonomous community or of the corresponding local administration will have to determine and report favorably the amount of this aid.

People who have a home that they own or under a usufruct regime, which they may occupy after the accreditation of the condition of victim of gender violence, or the eviction of their habitual residence or the consideration of especially vulnerable and whose occupation is compatible with said situations.

THE GOVERNMENT WILL ALLOW 100% OF THE RENT TO VULNERABLE USERS.

On the other hand, the Plan will grant aid of up to 100% of the monthly rent of the house to tenants in a situation of supervening vulnerability.

The vulnerable users who can benefit from this program will be those who have reduced the net income of the coexistence unit as a whole in a “substantial” way and that the rent payment exceeds 45% of the net income of the same.

These people will be those whose income is equal to or less than three times the Public Multiple Effects Income Indicator (Iprem). The threshold is extended to four in the case of large families or people with disabilities and to five in the case of large families of a special category.

The price of the home rental will have to be equal to or less than 900 euros per month.

The aid may not be granted when the applicant or another cohabitant in the habitual residence owns a home in Spain, although those who are owners of a home will prove its unavailability due to separation or divorce from this requirement. for another cause beyond their control or when the home is inaccessible due to the disability of the owner or a member of the coexistence unit.

In the event that the tenant is related in the first or second degree with the lessor or is a partner or participant of the natural or legal person acting as lessor, they will not be able to access these aid either.
