The emergency services have located in good condition the man who disappeared this Thursday after being dragged by the sea when I was on a mat on the coast of the Almeria town of Roquetas de Mar, as reported by Emergencias 112 Andalucía.
Minutes before midnight, a notice was received informing of the finding a mat with similar characteristics in which the disappeared one was. As indicated, it had been located on the Zapillo beach, in the capital Almería.
Shortly afterwards, around 01.00 a.m., Salvamento Marítimo informed 112 that the man had been located in the Aguadulce fish farm, conscious and oriented. He was transferred to the Port of Almería where he was assisted by a medical team from the Andalusian Health Service (SAS) who took him to the Torrecárcenas hospital for evaluation.
Civil Guard sources have specified that the man has been admitted to Observation of the aforementioned hospital. The event occurred around 7:00 p.m. on Thursday when several witnesses warned that there were two bathers on two inflatable mats about 400 meters from the shore in Playa de las Palmerillas that they asked for help.
One of them made it to land, while the other was dragged out to sea, so a search device was mobilized both by sea and by air with aerial means to try to locate it.
Maritime Rescue vessels, Civil Guard and Red Cross have participated in the device, together with the Almería Rescue helicopter. Local Police, Civil Protection and National Police were also alerted.
