The governor of the Novgorod region, Andrei Nikitin, was vaccinated against COVID-19 for the third time, he said on his page on the VKontakte social network.

Nikitin stressed that he was again vaccinated against coronavirus in order to maintain a high level of antibodies. He agreed with the doctor for the third vaccination: more than six months have already passed after the first two, the governor emphasized. Nikitin added that high levels of antibodies help protect against new strains of coronavirus.

“Take care of your health, today it is more important than ever,” the head of the Novgorod region called on citizens. According to the regional administration, more than 63.57 thousand residents of the Russian region have undergone the full vaccination cycle.

Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova advised to revaccinate against coronavirus. In her opinion, “it is important to make this decision” six months after vaccination.

Earlier, the governor of the Primorsky Territory, Oleg Kozhemyako, together with his wife, was vaccinated against the coronavirus and quoted Vysotsky. The procedure went “quickly, free of charge, conveniently,” he stressed. Kozhemyako recalled that only vaccination helps the body to avoid the complex course of coronavirus.
