Mexico.- The National Institute of Statistics and Geography (INEGI), released the Timely Indicator of Economic Activity, which during the month of May of this year registered a rebound of 24.8 percent, compared to the same month of the previous year.
A little more than a year after the first case of Covid-19 will be registered in Mexico, Inegi consecutively gave the third growth of economic activity, a higher figure than what has been registered so far this year.
In its report, INEGI highlighted that some industries have had a more advanced economic reactivation, such as secondary activities, which in May grew 36.4% compared to the same period of the previous year, while the industry only grew 19.8 %.

He explained that the Timely Indicator of Economic Activity (IOAE), allows to have very timely econometric estimates on the evolution of the IGAE, and its economic activities that are released approximately three weeks after the end of the month.
