At a meeting of the Tver Regional Court, 29-year-old Artur Atabekyan, known in criminal circles as Artur Molodoy, refused to recognize himself as a thief in law. It is reported by “Komsomolskaya Pravda”.
The authority, accused of occupying a high position in the criminal hierarchy and disorganizing the activities of the penal colony, refused to admit guilt. “Not a thief in law and did not raise his hands on anyone,” – said the defendant during the hearing.
Arthur Molodoy disgraced himself after his coronation because of the forgery of the signature of the chief thief in law of Azerbaijan Nadir Salifov (Guli). Authorities from the Kutaisi thieves’ clan with the help of a “run” urged the prisoners to treat the new thief in law Atabekyan “in a proper way.” Guli’s signature also appeared under the thieves’ message – this is how the authors decided to give weight to the “run”. However, Salifov himself, having learned about the signature, did not confirm it and was very indignant at the disregard for his opinion.
Arthur Young was crowned no later than December 2016. In 2018, he was sent to serve his sentence in a correctional colony (IK-6) in the Tver region. There he committed 789 violations of the rules of detention, for which he was placed in a punishment cell and a punishment cell. In October 2019, a thief in law attacked employees of IK-6, hit them, wishing to increase his criminal authority among the convicts. While serving his sentence, the accused informed the officers and convicts about his criminal status, demanding to obey his will, instructions and orders.
