The pandemic is evolving favorably in Spain and on the eve of the weekend, several communities have agreed relax restrictions related to nightlife and hospitality in order to reach the new normal.
In Andalusia, the hospitality industry may close at all alert levels at 24.00 hours, while in the pubs and discotheques of districts that are in level 1, the dance floors outdoors and with a mask will be allowed until 2.00 hours. In addition, according to the Junta de Andalucía, ice cream sales and service businesses may open until 1 a.m., but they must stop selling alcohol at 12 a.m.
The gauges are applied according to the alert level of each region. Number 1 contemplates that ten people can meet on the terrace and eight inside. On level 2 the meetings can be of eight outside and six inside and on level 3 six people outside and four inside.
Aragon maintains the closure of hotels and nightlife at 24.00 hours and the use of dance floors or consumption in the bar is not allowed. There are also no changes in the capacity, which allows maximum groups of ten people in public and private spaces outdoors and six indoors.
The measures approved last week by the Ministry of Health allow the opening of nightlife until 3.00 hours with customers seated and keeping a safe distance, while the closing time of the rest of the hotel industry remains at 1.00 in the morning. It is forbidden to consume in the bar of catering establishments.
A maximum of ten people on terraces and events with a maximum of 5,000 people if they take place outdoors and 2,500 if they take place in closed spaces are allowed.
From this weekend, once it is approved on Friday in the Government Council and published in the BOIB, cocktail bars, cafes and restaurants may open until midnight. 2.00 hours, depending on the regulations of each municipality. Outside of this flexibility there are still discos. Also, indoor and outdoor dancing will not be allowed.
The use of outdoor tables is extended from 10 to 12 people maximum, and indoors the capacity of 50% is maintained with a maximum of up to 6 people, including also the bars that can be used only with seated customers.
The Government of the Canary Islands will allow to open until 2.00 hours entertainment venues, such as karaoke bars and nightclubs on islands with a level 1 alert. There will also be capacity limitations, maximum occupancy and adequate ventilation, both indoors and outdoors. Catering activities may also open until 02:00, as well as bingo halls and casinos.
The maximum occupancy per table will be 10 people abroad and 4 indoors. The consumption of food and beverages will be done at the table, with the clients seated, with a safety distance of two meters. The mask must be worn at all times, except at the time of occasional food or drink intake.
Cantabria remove closing hours of hospitality and nightlife set last week at 1.00 and 2.00 in the morning, respectively. Regarding the capacity, in the municipalities with level 2 it will be 50% in the shops and in the case of shows it will be 75%, while in wakes, funerals or celebrations only half of the capacity can be occupied.
Massive outdoor events and activities with a standing public may reach 50% of the capacity, with a maximum of 5,000 people, without consuming food or drinks on the low level, which is reduced to 30% on the upper level, up to 2,500 viewers.
Castilla la Mancha
The hours of hospitality establishments in the region are extended from 1:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m. and nightlife may be open until 12:00 p.m. 3.00 hours am. In both cases, with a capacity of 75% indoors and 100% outdoors; No consumption in the bar or dancing inside the establishments, but you can dance outside.
Castile and Leon
Castilla y León maintains the opening of nightlife, with discotheques and nightclubs at a third of the capacity, without consumption in the bar or dance floor, and like the rest of the hotel industry with closing hours at 2.00 hours am. In terraces, the schedule will be the one set out in the municipal activity authorization.
In other establishments such as pubs, karaoke bars, special bars and others, they may not exceed 75% of the table capacity in rooms with up to 40 clients and 50% in rooms with more than 40 clients and the maximum occupancy per table or group tables will be 10 people.
Although the official reopening of nightlife is scheduled for June 21, businessmen in the sector have asked Catalonia to move forward to this next Friday.
For now, the Catalan bars and restaurants keep their opening hours until midnight this weekend. 1.00 in the morning with a capacity limitation of 50% indoors and without limit outdoors, although always guaranteeing two meters of separation between tables and a maximum of six people in each one.
In addition, the limitation of ten people in outdoor and indoor meetings and it is allowed to have a picnic in authorized public spaces and without exceeding the meeting limit.
The president of Extremadura, Guillermo Fernández Vara, announced this Tuesday that next week all licensed bars, clubs and hospitality establishments may be open until midnight. 3.00 hours.

There is freedom of assembly at any time and without limit of people both indoors and outdoors, although it is recommended that between 1 and 6 in the morning there are no meetings except for people living together.
In hotels and restaurants, the maximum capacity indoors is 75%, without restrictions in open spaces, with opening until midnight. 2.00 in the morning. In commerce, leisure and culture, religious celebrations and academies the capacity is 75% and in sports activities 50%.
The Community of Madrid has already set its plan for the reopening of nightlife as of June 21, the date set by the Madrid Government for the return of nightclubs and venues.
The association Noche Madrid proposes a “progressive de-escalation” in three phases. His spokesman, Vicente Pizcueta, has reported that they will ask from June 21 to open until 3.00 in the morning, that is, two hours beyond the hotel business, which now closes at 1.00.
It also proposes to open the dance floors to the open air and recover the bar service, although not the consumption but the collection of drinks.
In Murcia there is a night time limitation (from midnight to 6:00 a.m.) in non-essential activities, which may open from 6:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. In bars and restaurants, a maximum of six non-living people can meet per table both indoors and outdoors.
The Government of Navarra has announced that it will postpone the reopening of nightlife until July. For now the hospitality sector must close at 23.00 hours and must have a maximum 30% capacity inside. The terraces continue at 100% capacity, maintaining the safety distance.
The restrictions decreed on June 2 remain in force. The hospitality industry must close at 24.00 hours and it is forbidden to consume at the bar or standing, while at each table there may not be more than 4 people.
Nightlife establishments and venues are closed, as well as gastronomic societies, youth markets and the like. The closing of commercial establishments and the cessation of cultural, social and commercial activities is also set at midnight.

The Ministry of Health of the Government of Ceuta will allow nightlife venues to open at dawn for the first time since the declaration of the COVID-19 pandemic in March 2020.
