The Ministry of Health has registered this Thursday, with data provided by the autonomous communities, 4,197 new cases of coronavirus, of which 1,801 have been diagnosed in the last 24 hours, compared to 1,922 registered last Wednesday, which brings the total number of people infected with Covid-19 since the start of the pandemic to 3,753,228.
According to the cumulative incidence in the last 14 days, the report shows that it continues to decline, standing at 96.64 cases per 100,000 residents, compared to 98.78 reported Wednesday by the department led by Carolina Darias.
As for those who died from Covid-19, 19 more deaths reported, of which 70 have been registered in the last week. This brings the global death toll from coronavirus in Spain to 80,634 people.
At the moment there are 2,959 patients admitted for Covid-19 throughout Spain and 835 in an ICU, although in the last 24 hours there have been 313 admissions and 570 discharges. The occupancy rate for beds occupied by coronavirus stands at 2.40% and in ICUs at 8.89%.
In Spain 34,845,346 doses have been administered until this Thursday of the vaccines against Covid-19 from Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca and Janssen, 92.7% of those distributed among the autonomous communities, amounting to 37,600,188 units.
Data from the department headed by Carolina Darias indicate that in that period 25,216,815 doses of the vaccine have been received in Spain. Pfizer, of which 25,191,663 have been delivered, 24,671,774 doses have been administered, 14,375,219 have received one and 10,419,710 both.
Likewise, Spain has received 3,654,000 doses of the Modern, 3,647,200 have already been distributed to the autonomous communities, and 3,299,727 doses have been administered, although 2,023,520 have received one dose and 1,306,819 both doses.
Regarding the vaccine AstraZeneca, The report published this Tuesday by the Ministry of Health indicates that 7,344,700 have arrived in Spain, of which 5,938,174 have been administered, although 5,030,694 people have already been inoculated with one dose and 978,891 both.
Finally, 1,416,625 doses of the vaccine developed against the coronavirus have been delivered to the Autonomous Communities, of which 935,671 have already been administered, counting this vaccine with a single dose.
