A few months ago a new edition of the contest was launched “What is a king to you?”, in which the younger ones have the chance to show, through drawing and writing, what the figure of the king means to them.

The Spanish Institutional Foundation, which has organized the competition since 1981, this year included for the first time in its regulation the possibility of presenting works not only on the Felipe VI, but also about the princess of asturias.

Taking this innovation into account, it was expected that Leonor would be beside her father in the presentation of the works, which took place this Thursday, the 17th, but this did not happen. The El Pardo Palace, in Madrid, was the chosen setting for this presentation, in which the monarch was able to see all the works of the winners of the XXXIX edition of the competition on display.
