Russian President Vladimir Putin flew to Geneva, where he will hold talks with US President Joe Biden. The correspondent of “” informs about it.

The Russian leader’s plane landed at the Geneva airport. From there he will head to Villa La Grange, located on the shores of Lake Geneva.

The summit of Putin and Biden will be their first face-to-face meeting since the inauguration of the President of the United States. It is expected to last about five hours and start at 13:35 local time (14:35 Moscow time). Before it began, politicians will be photographed with Swiss President Guy Parmelin. At 15:55 Moscow time, an extended meeting of Biden and Putin with the participation of delegations will begin, and at 17:40 Moscow time its second round will take place.

It is planned that the parties will discuss bilateral relations, the international agenda, issues of strategic stability, the settlement of regional conflicts, as well as cooperation in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. Following the meeting, the leaders will hold separate press conferences.

The place of the summit is guarded by the military. In addition, the Oerlikon GDF-005, an automatic computerized weapon designed for short-range air defense, was deployed there.
