The president has recognized that Covid-19 has meant “a hard knock” for the economies of both countries, but he has also remarked that the two nations share among their virtues that of their ability to “rise up” after suffering relevant crises such as the pandemic, which has reached a global dimension.

He then explained, before an audience in which, in addition to the Korean president and authorities from both countries, the president of the CEOE listened to him, Antonio Garamendi, and a prominent group of Spanish and Korean businessmen, that Spain has already reached “cruising speed” in the largest vaccination campaign in its history.
