President of South Korea, Moon Jae-in, has arrived in Madrid

The kings of Spain received this Tuesday afternoon, the 15th, the president of South Korea, Moon Jae-in, and the first lady, Kim Jung-sook, who arrived in Spain for a two-day official visit, having been greeted with salvos in the Plaza de la Armería, at the Royal Palace in Madrid.

The South Korean president and his wife arrived at the scene shortly after 5 pm (Madrid time) in a Rolls-Royce from the Royal House, which took them to the exact location where Felipe VI e Letizia awaited them. During the reception, the Royal Guard band played the anthems of both countries and, later, Moon Jae-in and the King of Spain reviewed the troops.

During this first meeting, the Spanish monarchs introduced to the guests the members of the Government who were present, as well as the Mayor and the President of the Community of Madrid. Then it was time for the president of South Korea to introduce all the members of the Korean delegation.

It should be remembered that this evening, at 20:30h, the kings of Spain will once again meet with the South Korean president and his wife for a state dinner, which will take place at the Royal Palace.
