Doctor and TV presenter Alexander Myasnikov criticized Russians who are ready to be vaccinated against coronavirus in order to participate in a car raffle. In a conversation with the host Vladimir Solovyov, he called their behavior a shame. The broadcast is available on YouTube.
“We will not voluntarily go to vaccinate. At least you play five cars, at least ten. It’s a shame. It’s a shame when machines are being played to save your health, ”Myasnikov was indignant.
According to the doctor, the population of the country has “dropped” so much that “it’s time to stop being surprised.” That is why he called for other measures. “Gingerbread will not help here, only a whip,” concluded the doctor.
In early June, the Moscow authorities launched an additional vaccination incentive program, which applies to all citizens over 18 years of age. Those who receive the first component of the COVID-19 vaccine from June 14 to July 11 will participate in the car raffle.
Earlier, Myasnikov appreciated the idea of introducing compulsory vaccination against coronavirus. According to the doctor, there is no such vaccine that has officially passed all the long-term clinical trials. “Therefore, we do not have the moral right to make vaccination against COVID for everyone strictly mandatory,” the specialist emphasized.
