Spain is positioned in the Eurocup: no national team player kneels against racism

The time has finally come. After last Friday the Eurocup kick off the game between Italy Y Hungary, it is the turn of Spain. The Selection leadered by Luis Enrique has started its journey in the tournament in the duel against a Sweden which has the notable absence of Ibrahimovic due to injury.

One of the controversies that is on the order of the day in the Eurocup is the one that refers to which teams kneel, in the already known gesture against racism, and which ones do not. In Spain, a lot of noise had been generated for this reason, and a movement was born in social networks against internationals carrying it out.

The outcome has been known before the opening whistle. Neither the players of the Spanish team nor those of the Swedish team knelt before the start of the match. A match that also started a bit late since there was a problem with the net of one of the goals – Sweden’s in the first half.
