Actress returned to the social network thanking those who mobilized to help her get her account back
The actress Samantha Schmütz managed to recover your account on Instagram, in which it has more than 2.7 million followers. The artist’s account was deactivated by Instagram itself last Sunday, 13, and became a topic on social networks, because Samantha has used the space to criticize those who are not following the measures of social isolation, including artists. She has also been taking a stand against the current government, especially after losing a great friend, actor Paulo Gustavo, who died from complications at Covid-19. Upon having her Instagram back, the actress thanked the repercussion that the subject had after she told what had happened on Twitter. “Thank you for the support of everyone who mobilized against the censorship I suffered. I wonder why my account was banned in this way. We are living in strange times that need our attention”, he wrote.
Samantha continued by saying that before being an artist, she is also a citizen and stated that she has been politically positioned for a long time. “Lately, the reactions have been different. Why have my questions bothered you so much? We are not robots and we are here to dialogue. If my account has been deactivated because I expose my opinions, something is wrong. While there are still people who make prejudiced posts or even photos with guns, for example, and are still free to be present here, my account has been temporarily banned. The fact that I made a call to the artistic class to take a stand and exert the influence it has in a responsible and coherent way bothered a lot of people. Because? I think it’s worth doing this analysis. We remain here: attentive, strong and sincere”, concluded the actress.
