Novak Djokovic was proclaimed champion of Roland Garros this Sunday after a imposing comeback on Stefanos Tsitsipas by 6-7, 2-6, 6-3, 6-2 and 6-4. The Serbian strengthens even more if possible in the first place of the ATP ranking by lifting the Musketeers Cup for the second time.
However, the prominence of the post-game hangover has not been taken by ‘Nole’. Neither did Tsitsipas, who revealed hours later that his grandmother died five minutes before the game. The looks have been taken a young fan to whom Djokovic gave his racket after finishing the match.
After receiving the racket from his idol the boy erupted in euphoria and was hunted by the cameras, which did not take the focus off him. The young man, who was cheering on the Serbian throughout the game, has ended up going viral on social networks.
“I don’t know the boy, but it was in my ear the whole game, especially when I was two sets down. He was cheering me on and was actually doing the tactics for me. It said: “Keep your serve, get an easy first ball and then direct, look for his backhand …”. I was literally training myself. I found it very cute and pretty and I felt like I was the best person to give him the racket“, explained Djokovic in the press conference after the game.
“It was my way of thanking him for staying with me and supporting me“, settled the number one in the world.
