Video. Family dies intoxicated in a truck while trying to cross the Culiacán river

Culiacán, Sinaloa.- Through social networks a video showing the truck where died of poisoning three members of a family during the night of this Thursday in the river of Culiacan. In the images you can see the effort of the driver to remove the unit from the water while the spectators do nothing to help.

Around 10:40 p.m. this Thursday, June 10, the 911 emergency number received a report of two adults and a four-year-old boy trapped inside a Cherokee truck in the Ayune town, belonging to the municipality of Culiacán.

According to information gathered at the scene by Debate reporters, the truck where the family was traveling got stuck inside the river when they tried to cross it at the aforementioned municipality. Apparently the water obstructed the exit of the gases of the truck and these concentrated in the cabin, which left the family unconscious.

In the videos that were broadcast after the tragedy, you can see the unit inside the river, covered with water up to the height of the tires. It is also perceived that the driver accelerates and backs up without being able to go too far in either direction, while the other families who were in the place were unaware of what was happening.

At one point in the video you can see a buggy passing the truck without stopping to help them.

By the time they came over to see what was happening, the family had passed out. They immediately realized that the minor was still alive and they transferred him to a private hospital in the city of Culiacán.

The four-year-old boy died while being treated in the medical emergency room. Meanwhile, his parents were taken in private cars to a private clinic, where they lost their lives due to the damage caused by carbon dioxide in their systems.
