The details of the agreement between the leadership of “Rotor” and the Georgian footballers have not yet been reported.

TBILISI, 11 Jun – Sputnik. Two Georgian footballers – central defender Ilya Beriashvili and striker Beka Kavtaradze – will continue their careers at Rotor, according to a statement on the Volgograd club’s website.

The details of the agreement between the management of “Rotor” and the players are not reported.

Beriashvili is 22 years old, and the defender has played for Telavi for the last few seasons. Previously, the footballer auditioned at Rotor, but then the transfer did not take place.

As for the 21-year-old Kavtaradze, the striker is a graduate of the Dynamo Tbilisi academy. The forward played for Rustavi and Saburtalo, in which he became the vice-champion of Georgia. In February of this year, Kavtaradze joined Nizhny Novgorod from the FNL, for which he played 10 matches and scored three goals.

According to the results of the Russian Championship of the 2020/2021 season, “Rotor” failed to maintain a residence permit in the RPL and moved to the FNL. Three Georgian footballers defended the club’s colors throughout the season: Saba Kverkvelia, Zuriko Davitashvili and Giorgi Arabidze. All three have ended their lease agreement with the Volgograd club, and they will continue their careers in other teams.
